How is your cancellation policy?

In case of NO -Show on each confirmed booking will be One night room charge or Cancellations must be made at least 1 day prior of arrival date
What is the difference between a hotel and a serviced apartment?

Typically, serviced room offers fully furnished, beautifully decorated room units, much larger than hotel rooms, with kitchen and electrical appliances to make you feel like staying in a new home. Facilities include 6.00am-22.00pm guest service, daily maid service, towel and bed linen change. We also complimentarily provide internet connection in every apartment for your business and leisure life. Leasing term at V Residence is flexible for both long-term and short-term stay.
How can I make reservation at V Residence?

You may easily make a reservation via several channels:

How long in advance can I make a reservation?

It can be made several months to a few days before your check-in day, however, in case of holiday, we suggest you make it as early as you could.  
Under whose name should the reservation be made?

The reservation should be made under the name of the person who will check in and stay at V Residence. This is to prevent the confusion. If you'd like to book more than one room, please specify a different name for each room, otherwise the duplicate booking may be cancelled without prior notice.

How to make a reservation for my friends?

It is the same procedure as making a reservation for oneself. The only differences are the registration name and email address, which should be of his or hers instead of yours.

Can I specify where I would like my room to be accommodated (preferred floor, next to the lift, etc.)?

Yes, you can make a request. However, all are subject to availability upon arrival.
How many people can stay in one room?

This varies from room type, for a one-bedroom unit, 2 people are allowed; for a two-bedroom unit, 4 people are allowed.


Can my children stay in the room for free?

Our various Suites are larger in size. Free of charge for children age under 12 years old who share the same room with their parents without extra bed; children with an extra bed will be charged 800 THB nett per night inclusive of ABF.
How do I pay for my booking?

When you make a booking via our online reservation system, you will be advised of the payment conditions. We will always request credit card details to guarantee your booking.


The total room charge can be paid by the following two ways:
Pay at hotel reception - If you are informed by email to pay the total room charge at hotel reception, please pay for the hotel at the time of your check-out either by credit card or cash.
Prepayment - If you are informed by email to pay the total room charge, it means you have to prepay the room charge at least SEVEN days prior to your check-in day.
We accept the prepayment by following ways:

  • Western Union --- swift and safe way of payment;
  • PayPal --- instant online payment;
  • Credit Card --- way of payment, fast and safe;
  • Wire Transfer --- if dislike using above payment methods;

You will be guided further after you confirm the reservation.

What type of credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa Card, Master Card, Amex Card and JCB Card.

How secure are my credit card details given to you?

We use the strongest commercially available encryption technology when you send your credit card details to us. Also, as we host our own website (we do not use a 3rd party host) the details are sent directly to us, encrypted all the way.

Is there a security deposit that I have to pay on arrival?

You will be required to provide credit card details or another form of payment to act as security during your stay.
Do you offer any discounts on large group bookings?

What if I find a lower rate after booking?

If you find a lower rate in our website after booking, there is no refund for the difference since the rate is subject to change without prior notice.


Are taxes and breakfast included in the price?

Yes.
Are there extra charges for electricity or water?

There are no additional charges for electricity or water for those applying daily rate. Separate allowances should be made for telephone calls, subject to VAT.

For those who apply monthly rate, electricity, water and telephone calls are separately charged, subject to VAT.

Is the price per room or per person?

It is per room, but if it is over a certain amount of people, we will charge additional fee per person.

What different types of room are available?

There are a range of room options available at V Residence in different price ranges. For details on the available room types and the features we offer, please see the Rooms & Rates page.
How many additional beds can we have in one room?

One additional bed is allowed.
What is the minimum stay?

For daily rate, the minimum stay is 1 night.

For monthly rate, the minimum stay is 30 nights.

What time is check-in and check-out?

14:00 check-in and 12:00 check-out.

Do I need to inform you arrival flight number and arrival time at the time of making reservation?

If possible, please inform us. This concerns your expected check-in time and room keeping. If you're supposed to arrive later than 18:00, it's better to inform us your flight details at least a few days before arrival in order for us to keep your room properly.

Will the hotel hold my room if I am arriving late?

Because your booking is guaranteed with a credit card, your room will be held until 18:00. However, if you are arriving very late, you'd need to notify us your estimate arrival time via email, telephone or fax and keep our reply as reference in order to prevent check-in trouble.

What if I need early check-in?

You must notify the early check-in request to us. Our staffs will do their best to accommodate the request. However, we cannot guarantee that your request will be granted because they are subject to occupancy level of the previous night. If you would like to guarantee early check-in, it is recommended to reserve one night in advance.
What is late check-out rate?

Late check-out up to 18:00 is normally half day charge and after 18:00 is another full night charge. In some cases, we may allow free of charge late check-out at 14:00 upon request.
What should I do if I need to change or cancel my booking?

Please notify us immediately by email, telephone or fax and keep our reply as reference.

Will my credit card be charged if I do not cancel my reservation?

If you do not cancel your reservation within the allotted cancellation period, one night rate will be charged as penalty to the credit card given upon making reservation.
How do I get from the airport to V Residence? Is there any cost for airport pick-up?

In Bangkok, a range of options are available. When you book your room, you can request us to arrange for a limousine to collect you at a low cost. We have staffs on duty to meet most flights and they will escort you to the car. After a long flight, it is wonderful not to worry about finding a taxi. However, you can alternatively take one of the metered taxis that are available at the airport with a surcharge of 50Baht as well. Please ensure that they do switch on the meter.


How can I contact you from the Airport?

In the hotel confirmation voucher, we provide you with our numbers.
Are the apartments chaotic?

Privacy and Safety is the quality we care most as a Serviced Apartment, that's why we provide only 3-6 units per floor and install security system throughout the building.

What kind of breakfast is available at V Residence?

We provide American breakfast (ABF).
Do I get fresh towels and bed linen daily?

Yes, of course.

Do I have a telephone direct line in my room?

The telephone is not direct line. Our operator will transfer incoming calls to your room. However, you can directly dial out to any local and international numbers from your room.

Do you provide in-room Internet connection and what is the cost?

We provide Internet connection outlet in every guestrooms as a complimentary service. You only have a computer set and LAN card to get connected. In case you do not bring a computer, you may get connected at our Internet booth in the lobby at the rate of ... per hour.


Do you provide hair dryer?

Yes, in every rooms.


Can I bring my bicycle?

Bicycle is allowed but it needs to be parked in the parking area only, not in your room.

Can luggage be stored at the hotel whilst I travel elsewhere?

Yes, for a maximum of 10 days.



Can I bring a pet?

When is a good time to visit Thailand?

Thailand is a year-round destination with little change of temperature. However, as Thailand is a tropical country, the mid-year period, May until October for Bangkok, is a heavier rainfall than at others.

What is the currency in Thailand?

The currency in Thailand is Thai Baht. There are currency exchange facilities in all the banks and close to shopping malls.

What voltage do you use in Thailand?

The voltage in Thailand is 220 volts. If you are coming from America, then you will need to use a transformer to operate certain electrical appliances. All our Suites are equipped with international adapters.

What is the VAT refund system in Thailand?

The current level of VAT in Thailand is 7%. The government has introduced a VAT refund system for tourists. Full details can be obtained from participating shops.

What kind of Visa can I get to stay in Thailand?

The followings are four basic types of visas available for visitors and residents to Thailand.

1) Transit visa- valid for 14 days, will be issued to those people arriving to Thailand without a visa. Technically, you must have an onward flight ticket, but in practice, this visa can be issued almost without question.

Note: There are a few countries that do not require visas and will get a three month entry stamp on arrival. In general, these countries are the ones that grant the same rights to Thai nationals who visit their countries.

2) Tourist visa - issued by Thai embassy abroad. These visas will be valid for 60 or 90 days (varies from country to country). You may apply for more than one Tourist visa at a time and these multiple visas may be used up consecutively.

3) Non Immigrant visa - issued at an embassy outside Thailand and valid for a 90 day stay. This kind of visa may be extended in Thailand for up to one year period at a time.


There are three basic grounds to obtain and renew a Non Immigrant visa:

1) That you are employed (and have a work permit) in Thailand.

2) That you have Thai family.

3) That you are retired and can prove adequate pension or other financial means to support yourself. Note that ownership (or long lease) of property has no bearing on the extension of a Non Immigrant visa. Lengthy form filling and copying of personal documents (in duplicate) are required both when you first apply and for every subsequent renewal of this visa. If you hold a Non Immigrant visa, you should obtain a Re-Entry permit if leaving the country if you do not wish your visa to lapse.

4) Resident visa - rarely issued and hard to obtain. These visas are issued on a very selective quota basis. Qualification requirements include reading and writing Thai, a fairly strong local financial status and some good (influential) Thai references.
